Shipping Policy

Citric is committed to providing a transparent and dependable shipping experience for every customer. Customers will know exactly what to expect because this policy outlines how shipping works, the different ways to ship, the projected arrival dates, the fees, and the most essential rules.

1. Ways to Ship and How Much It Costs

Citric has two shipping options for all qualified destinations:

Free Standard Shipping

  • All orders, no matter how much they cost or where they are going, get free standard shipping.

  • There will be no extra expenses for handling, packing, or service.

  • This method is automatically applied at checkout unless the customer chooses a faster option.

Expedited Shipping (From $4.99)

  • Customers may select expedited shipping starting at $4.99.

  • The actual cost of expedited shipping may change based on:

    • The shipping address

    • The carrier's availability

    • The weight of the product

  • Compared to the normal method, expedited shipping makes processing and delivery happen faster.

No Extra Taxes or Hidden Fees

  • Citric doesn't charge any extra shipping taxes, fees, or levies on top of the prices shown above.

  • Customers are only responsible for the expedited shipping fee (if chosen).

2. Processing Time

Order Processing

    • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after the order is placed.

    • Order Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) will be processed starting the next business day.

    • Processing comprises: Checking your order, making sure the items are of good quality, packing them, and getting them ready to be shipped.

Exceptions Processing may take longer during:

  • Times of high sales volume

  • Holidays

  • Unexpected supply delays

Citric will email the customer if processing takes longer than expected.

3. How Long It Will Take to Deliver

After the order has been processed, the delivery times begin.

Free Standard Shipping

  • Typical delivery timeframe: 7 to 12 business days for most destinations.

  • Extra time may be needed for remote or international regions.

Expedited Shipping (From $4.99)

  • Typical delivery timeframe: 3 to 7 business days, depending on the carrier and location.

Important Notes Delivery timings are only estimates and may change based on:

  • Carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs checks (if necessary)

Citric can't promise exact delivery dates.

4. Tracking Your Shipment

  • We send you an email with a tracking number for every order once it has shipped.

  • It could take 24 to 48 hours for tracking updates to show up once the carrier scans the package.

  • The shipping confirmation email includes a link that lets customers track their order at any moment.

  • Note: It is normal for tracking information to be delayed or inactive during the early stages of transportation.

5. Address Accuracy & Failed Deliveries

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address is complete and correct (including apartment/suite numbers).

If a package is returned to Citric due to an incorrect address:

  1. We will contact you to correct the address.

  2. We can reship the order, but a flat reshipment fee of $5.00 (or the actual cost of shipping, whichever is lower) will apply to cover the new postage.

  3. Alternatively, we can issue a refund for the order, minus a restocking fee.

Citric is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer that are not returned to us.

6. Packages That Are Lost, Missing, or Stolen

Citric understands how frustrating it can be when a package goes missing. We are committed to assisting you in locating your shipment.

If a package is marked “Delivered” but not received:

  • Please check with neighbors, household members, or your building manager.

  • Verify that the shipping address on your order confirmation is correct.

  • Contact Citric Support within 48 hours of the delivery notification.

While Citric is not directly liable for packages stolen after delivery, we will assist you in filing an official claim with the carrier. In specific cases, we may offer a one-time replacement as a courtesy after the investigation is closed.

If a package is lost in transit (Tracking stops updating): If the tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days, please contact us. We will launch an investigation with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will immediately send a replacement free of charge.

7. International Shipping Notes

If the order is shipped internationally:

  • Customs inspections may extend delivery time.

  • Citric does not charge customs fees, duties, or import taxes.

  • Some countries may impose additional customs fees that the customer is responsible for paying.

8. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Customers may request order changes or cancellation before the order is shipped.

  • Once the package has been handed to the carrier, the order cannot be modified, redirected, or canceled.
